As part of the local wardrobe team for Luzia, I supported the touring production with costume maintenance, alterations, and backstage preparation:

Costume maintenance and show set up: 

• Daily inspection of costumes

• Ironing and Steaming to ensure stage-readiness

• Pre-show costume repairs, including:

  • Patching holes

  • Recurring replacement of non-slip silicone elastics on mesh, knits, and wovens

• Costume distribution to performers

• Weekly clean-up and maintenance of miscellaneous items (headpieces, masks, etc.)​

 

Costume alterations post fitting:​​​

• Reinforcements tailored to performer needs (e.g., neoprene knee patches for acrobatics)

• Adjustments to performer's feedback or body changes (e.g., gussets, pattern modifications)​
